Casi 22 meses, luego de un momento de esplendor, que lo llev\u00f3 a ser considerado uno de los mejores libra por libra. La gran victoria ante Shawn Porter la noche del s\u00e1bado 25 de junio de 2016 ante un Brooklyn expectante, la posterior pelea con el tremendo triunfo ante Danny Garc\u00eda lo catapultaban al podio de los mejores de la \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El campe\u00f3n welter, Ketih Thurman, ha regresado. Mostr\u00f3 su inteligencia en el primero, en el segundo lo derrib\u00f3 a L\u00f3pez con un gancho al plexo y una tremenda izquierda al p\u00f3mulo que lo mand\u00f3 a la lona. Parec\u00eda que lo liquidaba pronto, pero peleas son peleas y nada termina hasta el final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El dominio se hizo extensivo durante los asaltos siguientes; Thurman superaba a L\u00f3pez en los golpes lanzados y en los conectados. Era m\u00e1s en muchos aspectos, pero en los fundamentales, esos que definen una pelea, su dominio era claro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hasta que Josesito apareci\u00f3 en Brooklyn. En el s\u00e9ptimo encontr\u00f3 el espacio y la posibilidad de entrarle al norteamericano. Una izquierda lo estremeci\u00f3 y lo hizo retroceder. Thurman estuvo cerca de la cornisa. La furia de L\u00f3pez lo encerr\u00f3 en un laberinto. Y parec\u00eda dif\u00edcil salir. Pero los grandes campeones tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n hechos de esa madera. Se movi\u00f3 hacia los costados, uso el pase lateral y dej\u00f3 que L\u00f3pez avanzara, de forma desordenada e infructuosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hab\u00eda ganado. Hab\u00eda recuperado el tiempo.
